Seeking female health care professionals and nursing graduate students aged 25-50 with a bMI between 25-40 kg/m2, non-smoking, and premenopausal to test the dietary supplement Juice Plus+. Contact Harold at hwlee@memphis.edu for more information. 

School of Health Studies: Request for participants in a study
November 2017 - January 2018
Researchers at The University of Memphis are presently recruiting non-smoking men and women between the ages of 18 and 45 years for a research study. The study will determine how cinnamon extract and the amino acid glycine can impact blood sugar and insulin following the ingestion of a carbohydrate drink. Participants will be required to drink a sweet beverage on three occasions. Blood samples will be collected before and during the two hours post ingestion period. Each lab visit will take approximately 2.5 hours. Participants will be compensated $150 for their time.

Art Exhibit - Desert to Delta: Saudi Arabian Art and Film comes to Memphis

Desert to Delta at the Art Museum of the University of Memphis (AMUM) presents 20 artists and a video artist collective from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition opens with a public reception for visiting artists on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 6 PM. Accompanying programming at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art & Indie Memphis Film Festival. Reception to meet an artist and an exhibit tour scheduled for October 10, 2017 in the Alumni Center, 635 Normal St. More information HERE.
